Can We Choose What Is Included in Our Wedding Ceremony?

Yes. One of the things I enjoy about wedding officiating is working with couples to create a ceremony that reflects them and the wedding they're envisioning.

Your wedding ceremony doesn't have to sound exactly like someone else's.

Some couples want something simple and intimate. Others want a more detailed ceremony. You may have certain elements you would love to include—and others that don't feel right for you.

That's something we can discuss while creating your ceremony.

Does every wedding ceremony have to be the same?

No.

While there are legal requirements associated with solemnizing a marriage in Florida, that doesn't mean the personal portions of every wedding ceremony have to follow the same script.

At Rings, Bells and Bliss, my goal is to work with you to create a ceremony that feels comfortable and meaningful to you.

Instead of simply handing every couple the exact same ceremony, we'll talk about what you're envisioning.

Can you help us write our ceremony?

Yes.

I provide assistance with ceremony writing and vows.

You don't have to contact me with a finished ceremony already prepared. In fact, it's completely fine if you're not sure where to begin.

We can talk about the type of ceremony you want and work from there.

What if we don't want certain traditional elements?

Tell me.

If there are ceremony traditions or personal elements you're considering including—or would prefer not to include—we can discuss those preferences when planning your ceremony.

My role isn't to tell you what your wedding is supposed to look like.

It's to learn about the ceremony you're envisioning and help create it with you while fulfilling my responsibilities as your wedding officiant.

What if we're writing our own vows?

That's wonderful.

I can provide assistance with vow writing if you'd like help getting started or organizing what you want to say.

You can also let me know how you would like the vow portion incorporated into the ceremony.

When do we talk about all of this?

It starts before you book.

After you submit an inquiry through the Rings, Bells and Bliss website, I'll reach out to schedule a brief 5–10 minute phone call.

I'll get some information about your wedding and learn what you're looking for in an officiant. It also gives us an opportunity to make sure I'm a good fit for your ceremony.

Once your signed contract and full payment are received, your wedding date is secured.

Then we can continue working on the details of your ceremony.

Your wedding should feel like your wedding

Whether you're getting married on a beach in Pass-a-Grille, in a backyard in St. Petersburg, at a park, church or another location, the ceremony is about the two of you.

Let's create something that reflects that.

Call or text Adrienne at 813-334-9700 to talk about your ceremony.
